With The Care Standards Act in full force, the Protection of Vulnerable Adults Scheme rolled out, and Supporting People making it part of their core standards, POVA is now an essential part of the training for anyone working with vulnerable or potentially vulnerable adults.
We can offer a one day package of POVA and professional boundaries which meets all the training needs specified in Supporting People Core Objective C1.4.

Types of abuse, definitions of vulnerability, workers responsibilities + reporting abuse, basic professional boundaries.
This training should also include an explanation of your organisations relevant policies (whistle blowing, confidentiality, protection of vulnerable adults etc).
