C@PS is a simple and effective strategic planning process which we have adapted from the corporate sector to meet the needs of the social care sector. It is simple effective and avoids much of the bullshit of other similar systems.
Most importantly for the social care sector it is cost effective. For a small to medium sized organisation, a strategy for the following year can be produced within one or two days. The process can involve your whole team and once you have learnt how to use the system you can produce future strategic plans yourself without an external facilitator.
You end up with a practical plan for the whole organisation with separate plans for departments and even individual workers if you wish. The plan is a practical document which can be used in team meetings and individual supervision.
